November 17 th – “HIV Positivity:” Understanding what it means to be HIV positive, prioritizing testing and treatment education, and ending the stigma associated with HIV and AIDS. ![]() October 20 th – “Holidays and Hardships:” Discussing the stressors of life, identity, and the upcoming holiday season for queer and questioning individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community.September 15 th – “Identity, Religion, and In-between:” Congregating and analyzing the trials and tribulations related to being religious and LGBTQIA+.August 18 th – “Queer-mediation for Educators:” Discussing tips, tricks, and tools for queer or allied educators and support staff for the upcoming academic year.July 21 st – “Sex, Gender Identity, and Sexual Orientation:” Understanding the differences, similarities, and intersectionality of often misunderstood identifiers. ![]() The topics will range from understanding the intersectionality of misunderstood identifiers in July to discussing the importance of proper name and pronoun usage in December, with much in between. ![]() Baton Rouge, LA – With the conclusion of their pride edition of “Queer Conversations,” Baton Rouge Pride announces the release of their remaining 2021 “Queer Conversations’” topics and their anticipated dates.
